On April 8, 2013, the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) released a proposed complaint and Consent Order against Bosley, Inc. and its corporate parents (jointly “Bosley”), barring Bosley from exchanging “competitively sensitive, nonpublic information about its business practices” with competitors, including, in particular, HC (USA), Inc., known as Hair Club.
