US, Canadian, and Australian tourist and business travelers are required, since the beginning of the year (January 7), to pay a reciprocity fee prior to arriving in Argentina. Travelers from these three countries will need to go online (, create an account, pay the respective fee, and print the receipt so it can be provided to immigration and customs upon entry to Argentina. U.S. citizens are subject to a USD160 fee, which grants them multiple entries for ten years and stays of up to three months per visit. Canadian citizens will be required to pay CAN75 for single entry and CAN150 for multiple-entry authorizations, and Australian citizens will be required to pay AUD100 for single entry permits.
