The Fair Work Commission has released its anti-bullying report for the March quarter, after its first three months of receiving applications for orders to stop bullying.
151 applications were received by the Commission and all were dealt with in the required 14-day period. This is well below the number of applications that were initially anticipated by the Commission, with initial estimates of 3,500 annually, which would equate to 875 per quarter. Eight applications were finalised with a decision, and 143 were finalised with no decision. The majority of applications were made by employees alleging bullying by their managers.
