The proposed eco-town Middle Quinton near Stratford-upon-Avon, one of ten across the UK, will provide 6,000 homes as part of Gordon Brown's efforts to combat climate change and the need for affordable housing. The Court of Appeal backed the High Court's decision regarding the Government's project and consultation process, preventing the local campaign group BARD (Better Accessible Responsible Development) from thwarting the eco-town's development.
