• On February 14, 2011, the Minnesota Public Utilities Commission (MPUC) issued an amended scheduling order in a complaint case filed by Qwest Communications Company, LLC against Tekstar Communications, Inc., a competitive local exchange carrier. Qwest filed its complaint in March 2009, alleging that Tekstar was illegally billing Qwest access charges associated with calls to conference calling companies that Tekstar serves. Because of difficulties in completing all depositions by the deadline, the parties jointly petitioned the Commission for an extension of time in which to complete fact discovery. Under the amended schedule issued by the MPUC, direct testimony from Qwest, and intervenors Sprint Communications Co. LP, and T-Mobile USA, Inc., will be due on April 22, 2011. Tekstar’s rebuttal testimony will be due on August 22, 2011, and hearings are scheduled for January 2012. Docket No. 09-265.
