The Democrats and Republicans of the Energy & Commerce committee have reached an agreement that will limit amendments and conclude the mark-up later this afternoon with a vote for final passage. Part of the agreement included that the committee will hold at least one hearing on the allowance allocation system following the Memorial Day recess. Amendments today will be limited to 10 minutes of debate on each side. The final vote is expected to occur around 5 PM this afternoon and the bill is likely to be approved by the committee.
