We have been informed by several sources that the Federal Trade Commission will release its revised Environmental Marketing Guides on Wednesday, October 6, 2010 at 11 AM. These revisions are in response to the FTC’s review of its current guidelines on the use of green marketing terms, which began in 2008. It is expected that the revised guidelines will be more extensive and wide-ranging than those currently in place. The release will be in the form of a proposal, and comments will be requested.
