On 9/28/10 Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Kathleen Sebelius announced $68 million in grants from the health care overhaul law to help seniors and people with disabilities and their caregivers better navigate the health care system. The grants will go primarily to states and community organizations to help such individuals understand their Medicare and Medicaid benefits. The grants will be administered by HHS Administration on Aging and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
