The G20 published a paper relating to the activities of its anti-corruption working group (ACWG) on concrete actions the G20 can take to meet the standards of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) regarding the beneficial ownership of companies and other legal arrangements, such as trusts. The ACWG will:
- Develop, with other relevant experts, a set of high level G20 principles on actions G20 countries will take to prevent the misuse, and to ensure the transparency, of legal entities and arrangements.
- Hold a joint session on beneficial ownership with relevant G20 experts at the ACWG's June 2014 meeting.
- Provide a draft set of the principles.
