The Pension Protection Fund (PPF) has clarified its position on guaranteed minimum pension equalisation, which is that there is a legal obligation to provide equal compensation to men and women in comparable employment situations. This obligation extends to taking positive steps to equalise compensation between men and women where it is unequal as a result of GGMP entitlements. Legal advice is being sought by the PPF and a consultation on the matter is imminent.

”Lexology is a useful and informative tool. I keep copies of relevant articles and often forward them to colleagues. Although I do not know all of the authors/firms, by reading their articles I do gain an understanding of their appreciation of a topic, and should the need arise I would not hesitate to contact them on those topics.”
