On 5 March the Regulator published its 2019 annual funding statement together with a document setting out a summary of the key messages. The statement is for trustees and employers of all occupational DB schemes but is particularly relevant to schemes with valuation dates between 22 September 2018 and 21 September 2019 (referred to in the statement as Tranche 14 or T14) as well as schemes undergoing significant changes that require a review of their funding and risk strategies. In this article we highlight some of the key points of note in the statement.In this edition we look at key developments from March 2019 including the following
