The Steering Committee on Reciprocity (SCOR), the body established by the UK finance industry, has launched a new version of the Principles of Reciprocity (version 36). These govern how firms share consumer and commercial credit performance data through credit reference agencies for use in credit applications. An industry consultation has also been launched on the decision making framework for the proposed new Data Sharing Oversight Council, which would oversee the governance of  data sharing. The industry has also been asked whether it is supportive of non-consensual data-sharing (the sharing of data where consent to use is assumed unless customers opt-out). – Principles of Reciprocity
