The Employment Bill published on 6 December 2007 proposes to make a number of changes to employment law including the repeal of the statutory dispute resolution procedures now contained in sections 29 to 33 and Schedules 2 to 4 of the Employment Act 2002 and the removal of ACAS fixed conciliation periods. The Bill is expected to receive Royal Assent by summer 2008; however, most of it is expected to come into force at a later date. For further information, see
