2012 saw the launch of the Jersey Private Placement Funds regime which was designed to offer fund promoters an ability to launch closed ended investment vehicles within 72 hours. Furthermore, the Jersey Financial Services Commission introduced the Codes of Practice for Certified Funds which aims to ensure that Certified Funds meet international regulatory standards.
