The Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) has published a series of guidance documents on the Equality Act 2010, which explain the Act's provisions and give practical examples.

The guidance documents that have been published comprise guidance for employers, workers, service providers and service users. The EHRC will publish additional guidance for students and education providers later this month.

The vast majority of the provisions in the Equality Act 2010 will come into force on 1 October 2010.
