Sussex-based not-for-profit company Ovesco have proposed a 98kW solar panel installation in Lewes. They aim to raise £307,000 to finance the project and already have £158,000. However, due to proposed cuts to the Government’s feed-in tariff incentives, the company only has until 1 August to raise the remaining finance and complete the project or risk delivering reduced returns to investors. Ovesco has said that if it does not complete the project in time it will have to reduce the size of the installation to 50kW to access the higher level of feed-in tariffs.
