On August 14 and September 10, 2009, CITA determined that certain polyester/rayon/wool fabric and certain woven modal-polyester apparel fabric, respectively, are not available in commercial quantities in a timely manner in the US-Dominican Republic-Central America Free Trade Agreement (“CAFTA-DR”) member countries. Accordingly, the products will be added to the list in Annex 3.25 of the CAFTA-DR, and their importation will be permitted in unrestricted quantities. The list in Annex 3.25 is for fabrics, yarns and fibers that the CAFTA-DR parties have determined are not available in commercial quantities in a timely manner in the territory of any party. The list may be modified under Article 3.25(4)-(5) when the President (through CITA) determines that a fabric, yarn or fiber is not available in commercial quantities in a timely manner in the territory of any party.
