On 31 March 2009, the London Stock Exchange published a notice outlining changes that were made to the LSE Admission and Disclosure Standards with effect from 1 April 2009. The amendments, which relate to block admission applications, amends the definition of "block admission" and offers issuers the option of making a block admission application if the securities are not allotted prior to admission and do not require a prospectus or listing particulars. The LSE has also added a guidance note to Rule 2.7 to make clear what typically constitutes a block admission application.
The updated Admission and Disclosure Standards can be found on the LSE website (web page).
