Today is Members’ day and will see the final debate on the Marriage (Definition of Marriage) Amendment Bill.  The Government seeks to make progress on the Immigration Amendment Bill, the Legal Assistance (Sustainability) Amendment Bill, the Plumbers, Gasfitters and Drainlayers Amendment Bill, and the Crown Minerals (Permitting and Crown Land) Bill.

The House will also sit with extended hours for the second reading and committee stages of the Ngāti Whātua o Kaipara Claims Settlement Bill and the Waitaha Claims Settlement Bill.  On Thursday afternoon the House will hold a debate on Pacific Issues.
