FSA has finalised its guidance on selling general insurance policies through price comparison websites. The guidance follows FSA's identification of concerns over "white-labelled" price comparison websites. The guidance explains how firms must address the restrictions on unauthorised regulated activities and financial promotions in the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 and how to comply with the relevant parts of the Insurance: Conduct of Business Sourcebook (ICOBS) and the Senior Management Arrangements, Systems and Controls Sourcebook (SYSC).
