On the 6th of April, new changes to the compensation limits that can be given to an employee came into force. These new figures have been set in line with the latest inflation rates.

These regulations also came into force on 6 April 2017 and apply to large private and voluntary sector employers (defined as those with 250 or more employees on 5 April of each year).Gender pay gap reporting regulations
These Regulations brought in a requirement that employers must analyse their gender pay gap each April and publish their gender pay gap report no later than 4th April 2018. Thereafter, they must produce and publish an annual report. They must also upload the information to a Government website. To do this, employers need to activate an account and they can do this by going to the following website: https://www.gov.uk/report-gender-pay-gap-data
