The Competition Tribunal has confirmed a consent agreement entered into between the Competition Commission and Harding Allison CC. The settlement forms part of the Commission's fast-track settlement procedure. Harding Allison admitted to collusive tendering (specifically requesting a cover price from Group Five in respect of the Renault Motor Company, Meridian Drive Umhlanga project). Harding Allison agreed inter alia to pay an administrative penalty of ZAR 78 822 (representing 2% of its annual turnover for 2009). A copy of the consent agreement is available here.
