Society encourages people to enjoy the thrills of engaging in activities outside of their normal day to day life. An active lifestyle promotes physical and mental health. It is important to take risk. It is equally important that businesses and insurers in the activities industry are not deterred by the threat of litigation from continuing to provide the services they offer.
