This Friday, September 15th, 2017 is the launch date for the 5th Round of RESTORE NY Communities Initiative (“RESTORE NY”) funding.  A total of $80 million has been allocated for municipalities state-wide.

RESTORE NY provides financial assistance to municipalities to support economic development and neighborhood revitalization efforts such as can be realized through rehabilitation, reconstruction, deconstruction or demolition of blighted (vacant/abandoned/condemned/surplus) structures. Grants can also be used for site development needs including water, sewer and parking, with a strong emphasis on projects in economically distressed areas.
