The China Trademark Office (CTMO), as a member state of the Nice Union, has adopted as of 1 January 2014 the 2014 version of the 10th edition of the International Classification of Goods and Services for the Purposes of the Registration of Marks (Nice Classification). Accordingly, applicants should refer to the classification codes in the 2014 Nice Classification when filing applications for trademark registration with CTMO.
