The Chinese Medicine Board of Australia has released a communiqué from the meeting held on 29 April 2014 at AHPRA's National Office in Melbourne.
During the meeting, the Board made changes to guidelines and policy in relation to social media, advertising, mandatory reporting and the Code of Conduct, which came into effect retrospectively on 17 March 2014.
The meeting also discussed the terms of reference for the 3 year review of the National Registration and Accreditation Scheme. Kim Snowball has been appointed to lead the review, which will examine the extent to which AHPRA and the Board are meeting objectives and ensuring performance of the National Scheme.
