On the 25th - 26th July, The US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) conducted a seminar under the name of ‘Examination of applications for trademark registration’ for representatives of the Uzbek IP office, with USPTO officials Helen Livinski and Nancy Omelco heading these talks. Discussion revolved around topics such as trademark applications, geographical terms and locations, trademark protection, appeals, objections and cancellations.
