By Governmental Agreement 89-2019 was issued the Regulation of the International Labor Organization (ILO) Convention No. 175 which regulates Part-Time Work.
This Regulation comes into force today 5 of July and regulates, inter alia:
- The rights of those workers who are hired part-time;
- The employers' obligations regarding part-time employees hired;
- The conditions under which an employee hired full-time can be moved to part-time work; and,
- The preferential rights and conditions under which part-time employees can enter full-time work.
