By Governmental Agreement 89-2019 was issued the Regulation of the International Labor Organization (ILO) Convention No. 175 which regulates Part-Time Work.

This Regulation comes into force today 5 of July and regulates, inter alia:

  • The rights of those workers who are hired part-time;
  • The employers' obligations regarding part-time employees hired;
  • The conditions under which an employee hired full-time can be moved to part-time work; and,
  • The preferential rights and conditions under which part-time employees can enter full-time work.
