Final antidumping duties for seamless steel carbon pipes from South Korea, Spain, India and Ukraine

On 3 April 2018, the International Trade Practices Unit (UPCI) of the Ministry of Economy published in the Official Federal Gazette the Final Resolution of the antidumping investigation over the importation of seamless carbon steel pipes originating in the Republic of Korea, the Kingdom of Spain, the Republic of India and Ukraine, regardless of the country of export.

This publication resolves the continuation of this investigation and the assessment of the following antidumping duties on the definitive and temporary importations of this product:

Exporter Antidumping Duties
Iljin Steel Co. Ltd. and other exporters in Korea 0.1312 dollars per kilogram
Tubos Reunidos Industrial, S.L.U. and other exporters in Spain 0.3785 dollars per kilogram
Importations from India 0.2067 dollars per kilogram
Importations from Ukraine 0.1701 dollars per kilogram

Notice of Completion of Panel Review - Ethylene Glycol Monobutyl Ether from the United States

On 30 April 2018, the Mexican Section of the NAFTA Secretariat published the Notice of Completion of Panel Review, of the Final resolution of the antidumping investigation over the importation of ethylene glycol monobutyl ether originating in the United States of America, regardless of the country of export, making reference to file number MEX-USA-2012-1904-01.

By means of this notice, the panelists are discharged from their duties effective on 20 April 2018.

Background

On 25 May 2016, UPCI modified the following duties as follows:

Exporter Antidumping Duties
Dow Chemical Union Carbide No antidumping duties
Eastman From 14.81% to 28.43%
Other exporters From 36.64% to 28.43%

On 10 May 2017 the antidumping duties were modified as follows:

Exporter Antidumping Duties
Eastman From 14.81% to 9.30%
TDCC-UCC Remained at 16.28%
Other exporters Remained at 36.64%

On 6 March 2018, such antidumping duties were eliminated.
