On 9 October 2009, the Committee of European Banking Supervisors (CEBS) published for consultation draft disclosure guidelines intended to help institutions improve their risk disclosures in the wake of the financial crisis. The consultation on the draft guidelines closed on 15 January 2010.

On 26 January 2010, CEBS held a public hearing at its premises in London to discuss the comments received during the consultation. CEBS has now published a summary of the discussions together with the presentation given at the hearing.
