Those of you involved in public construction procurement will be aware that new procurement regulations have been on the horizon for some time now.  The European Directive on public procurement (Directive 2014/24/EU) was published at the end of March this year and we have since been waiting to see how the Directive will be transposed nationally.

The Cabinet Office has now published the draft Public Contracts Regulations 2015 and a consultation paper.  The consultation closes on 17 October 2014.

For some more detail on what the new draft Public Contracts Regulations 2015 look like have a look at our procurement portal blog on the subject, view the consultation paper or the draft regulations.

When implemented, the draft Public Contracts Regulations 2015 will repeal and replace the Public Contracts Regulations 2006.
