Under Resolution no. 104/16/Cons, the Italian National Communication Authority (Agcom) sanctioned Telecom Italia s.p.a with a fine of euro 360.000,00, because this company infringed Resolution no. 79/09/CSP related to the provision of Customer Care Assistance.

According to the Agcom, the call center service of TIM did not give users the opportunity to speak with assistance and to file any request by telephone. In addition, this service did not give users the option to communicate the theft or loss of the sim card, because it did not allow users to complete successfully the task or to speck with any assistance.
