EBA has published the responses to its consultation on draft guidelines under the CRR on implicit support for securitisation transactions. These guidelines aim to clarify what constitutes arm’s length conditions and when a transaction is not structured to provide support for securitisations. They also include provisions to avoid a scenario whereby support is provided on behalf of the originator by another entity. EBA has made two responses available from AFME and the German Banking Industry Committee. (Source: EBA publishes responses on implicit support securitisation guidelines)
