On 3 October 2014, Communications Alliance released proposed revisions to the TCP Code as part of a package of revised industry Codes and Guidelines to streamline and improve customer information requirements.

The revisions to the TCP Code have been released for public comment and seek to streamline customer information requirements via the removal of duplication, overlap or unnecessary obligations. The changes are designed to address the “information overload” that many telecommunications customers experience.
