Ofcom have received an application from Everything Everywhere to trade 2 x 15 MHz of 1800 MHz spectrum with Three. As a condition of the merger between Everything Everywhere’s parent companies, Deutsche Telekom and France Telecom, they each committed to the European Commission to divest this spectrum. If granted as applied for, the divestment will take effect on 1 October 2013 and 1 October 2015.
