Former Formula 1 chief Max Mosley has become an unexpected champion of celebrities’ online privacy rights. He recently got a German court to order Google to preemptively filter out search results in Germany linking to photos of an orgy in which Mosley participated. Google already will block links to specific images upon request; the order requires the company to go a step further and block any such images even without specific requests. This is Mosley’s second victory on the issue; as we previously reported, last November, a Parisian civil court issued a similar ruling.
