Commission adopts Own Funds Regulation extension: The Commission has adopted an implementing Regulation on the extension of transitional periods relating to own funds requirements for exposures to central counterparties for the purposes of the Capital Requirements Regulation. Commission looks at financial crime sanctions: The Commission has published a study looking at criminal sanctions in Member States for various crimes including money laundering. Commission asks ESMA for MAR advice: The Commission has asked ESMA for technical advice on aspects of implementation of the Market Abuse Regulation (MAR). The Commission needs to adopt implementing acts setting out the procedures to enable reporting of actual or potential infringements of MAR to regulators. It also needs to consider how best to protect workers and safeguard personal data. The Commission needs ESMA's advice eight months after MAR enters into force.
