The State Intellectual property Office of China (SIPO) issued on 22 October 2013 the Draft Amendment of Patent Examination Guidelines (Request for Comment). This draft amendment, related mainly to patent application for designs involving graphical user interface, is open for public comment until 22 November 2013. The public are welcome to send their opinions and suggestions to SIPO by mail or via the internet, e-mail, or fax.
