The Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Interior, Environment, and Related Agencies released its FY14 Interior and Environment Appropriations draft bill on August 1. The $30.8 billion bill provides the Environmental Protection Agency $8.5 billion, roughly $328 million more than the requested level. Chairman Jack Reed (D-RI) and Ranking Member Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) also released a summary and a statement.
