On 19 April 2010, CESR published feedback statements on the consultations on its technical advice to the EU Commission on Level 2 implementing measures relating to the UCITS IV Directive (2009/65/EC). The feedback statements can usefully be read alongside the relative advice.
The feedback statements relate to the consultations on
- Mergers of UCITS, master-feeder structures and cross-border notification. CESR issued it's final advice on 22 December 2009.
- The format and content of key information document (KID) disclosures. CESR issued it's final advice on the format and content of KID disclosures on 28 October 2009 and issued its final advice on the methodology for the calculation of the synthetic risk and reward indicator and the ongoing charges figure on 22 December 2009.
- The UCITS management company passport. CESR issued it's final advice on the management company passport on 28 October 2009.
The advice was provided by CESR in response to the Commission's request for technical advice on implementing measures concerning UCITS IV, some of which should be adopted by the Commission by 1 July 2010. UCITS IV must be implemented by Member States by 1 July 2011.
