A draft amendment to the Labour Code:
- Establishes the notion of a "top managing employee", i.e. a top management employee whose contractual salary is at least approx. CZK 100,000. These employees will be able to schedule their work to a maximum range of 48 hours/week; however they will not receive a salary or time reimbursement for overtime or work during holidays;
- Determines the number of employees in the respective departments of the employer, i.e. in each production facility, triggering the collective redundancy regime;
- Limits the possibility to unilaterally assign an employee to alternative work or to another place of work.
