TI has published a paper addressing each myth surrounding the Bribery Act 2010 and explaining the reality. The paper includes details on past consultations that refute the argument there was not enough time for discussion, and explains why many of the offences the media complain about are already offences. The paper calls for an end to the uncertainty of not knowing when the Act will now take effect and says the adequate procedures guidance must be published and the Act brought into force, as drafted, by May 2011.
