When the Temporary Agency Workers' Directive was adopted in October 2008, Member States were given 3 years in which to implement the Directive into national law (see our E-Bulletin of 13 November 2008 for further information on the terms of the Directive). The Government has announced that it hopes to introduce the necessary legislation in the current Parliamentary Session (see the announcement on DBERR's website) There will be a full consultation on the options for implementation, including a date for entry into force.
