From August 1, 2014, the four-level minimum monthly wages in Zhejiang are adjusted to RMB 1,650, RMB 1,470, RMB 1,350, and RMB 1,220, respectively. The four-level minimum hourly wages for part-time employment are increased to RMB 13.5, RMB 12, RMB 10.9, and RMB 9.8, respectively. Compared with the last year, Zhejiang minimum wage standards are increased by 12% on average.

According to this provision, each city in Zhejiang may determine and publish the local applicable minimum wage standard according to its local economic development, living standard and employers’ capability.
