Gregory Distribution Ltd pleaded guilty to breaching section 3(1) of the HSWA following an incident in April 2008 when the owner of a vineyard, George Musgrave, suffered fatal injuries when a delivery of empty wine bottles fell on to him from the tail lift of a lorry he was helping to unload. The load was being delivered by an agency driver and it was found that Gregory Distribution had failed to ensure that driver had the correct equipment and adequate training to unload the delivery safely.
