A November 2010 report for the Institute for Policy Studies shows that China is investing twice as much on clean energy than the US (and only 1/6 as much on military). According to the report, China spends between $2 and $3 on military for each $1 on climate change. By way of comparison, the US budgeted $94 on military for each $1 on climate change in 2008 and has increased this to $41 for each $1 for the financial year for 2011. This remains significantly below China.
