Davies Collison Cave is very pleased to announce Humphrey Foote has joined our firm as a principal in our New Zealand office from 13 May 2019. Humphrey specialises in patents covering a wide range of technologies in life sciences and biotechnology, and also has extensive expertise in plant variety/breeders rights.
Humphrey holds a BSc (Hons) Biological Sciences and a PhD, Molecular Biology both from the University of Birmingham. He was then a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at the University of California and subsequently a Post-Doctoral Research Associate at the University of Nottingham. From 1999 until 2002 Humphrey worked at Genesis R&D Corporation Limited which, at the time, was New Zealand's largest biotech company, before joining AJ Park in 2002.
