Antimonopoly proceedings have been brought against Polska Telefonia Cyfrowa, Polkomtel and Polska Telefonia Komórkowa Centertel.

UOKiK launched proceedings against the three major Polish mobile operators to investigate whether or not they are abusing a collective dominant position by charging higher fees for connections to the Play network (operated by their competitor, P4) than for connections to each other’s networks.

If the allegations related to abuse of a dominant position are upheld, UOKiK can impose fines up to 10% of each company’s turnover in the year preceding the decision issue.
