EBA has issued guidance on the third Capital Requirements Directive (CRD3) provisions requiring the collection of data on earners with annual remuneration above €1 million and the benchmarking of trends in remuneration. Data has to be collected only at the level of the group supervisor and then submitted to EBA. The Financial Services Authority is already consulting on its approach and templates for firms to collect data and elaborate the reports. The deadline for firms to submit the first Remuneration Benchmarking Report and High Earners Report to the FSA will be 31 December, as required by EBA.
