On February 10th, the CFTC published in the Federal Register a revised notice of the Division of Clearing and Intermediary Oversight's proposal to collect information on the current laws and market developments of each jurisdiction in which exemptive relief has been granted by the CFTC in accordance with Regulation 30.10. Regulation 30.10 permits persons located and doing business outside of the U.S. to solicit or accept orders directly from U.S. customers for foreign futures or options transactions, without registering as futures commission merchants. The period in which comments may be submitted has been extended one week to April 12, 2010. 75 FR 6637.
